ABOUT US

My name is Denise and I am the owner of Britmania British Shorthairs. I live in Shepparton, Victoria, with my partner and our two beautiful daughters. We also own one Alaskan Malamute.

We are currently building our breeding stock of British Shorthair cats. We now own three queens and our very own stud, we have two Blues named Mischievous Ruby and her daughter, Britmania Isabella and a Blue Point named Indiah. Our boy is a lilac named Sumibo Tudor Lord Oliver. He comes from Sumibo Cattery in WA.

We are registered breeders with the Cat Authority of Victoria (CAV)

Love At First Sight

I fell in love with the chubby cheeks of the British Shorthair when I went to visit my best mate in Melbourne. Her flatmate, Cherie, had a pedigree British Shorthair named Tranquillity Mischief. She was only a few months old when I first met Cherie, but by the time she had grown up and her kittens were born, I was totally infatuated with the breed.

Cherie was kind enough to sell me my first breeding queen, which to her I will always be grateful. My best mate also helped me to pay for her as a birthday present, so I must say a great big thankyou to Lyn as well.
